The making of Eliza James.

Eliza James is a supercharged trainer, mover-shaker, and change-maker with energy that outsizes any room and warmth that outshines any excuse. Eliza disarms with her sheer authenticity—then builds up confidence, self-acceptance, and power in everyone she works with. She knows that physical fitness starts from the inside out. So while her training sessions include dynamic workouts that test every client’s mettle, she fuels a sense of personal power that gets each person to the finish—and brings them back taller and stronger next time.

She finds your cracks, then uses them to let the laugher, love, and light shine through.

Discover yourself and build a stronger self through training sessions, group classes, retreats, or just about any interaction with the incomparable Eliza James.

Boxing Is For Girls: Located in the heart of Salt Lake City’s Sugarhouse neighborhood.

Boxing Is For Girls is the signature studio space and home of the Eliza James experience—a training ground and sanctuary for countless individuals who have come through these doors. Every surface of the studio, both inside and out, is an expression of Eliza’s vision to bring more color to the world, filling even the unexpected and dark places with life, expression, and art.

The name Boxing Is For Girls stands loud and proud on its own—yes, the studio serves women and men who embrace training hard alongside women—but the name stands for the power of the unexpected. The power of the underestimated. The pride we can all find when we punch through expectations.

Eliza James will train, speak, coach, and change lives near and far. And wherever she is, her spirit and power fuel Boxing Is For Girls. It stands for something. And serves as a space where people can stand as themselves.

“Fear is based on the unknown. But as people get stronger, they’re building their own personal truth and opening up physically and spiritually.

You can’t stop the flow once it’s turned on.”
